SUMMARY

The FP&A Reporting Analyst is accountable to develop the enterprise wide vision and drive implementation of a consolidated, simplified, and standardized financial reporting process. This vision will encompass a forward path from data aggregation to intelligent information that supports sound business decision making. The incumbent will utilize Voice of Customer and other Six Sigma tools to design a reporting framework that satisfies stakeholder requirements, including "one version of the truth", standardization, variation reduction and simplification.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop comprehensive and integrated reporting vision and roadmap that highly leverages information technology to improve organizational effectiveness, efficiency, integration and transparency with KCP and with NSE stakeholders
• Owns development of department wide reports, including headcount (manpower), gross cost, programmatic costs, and National Nuclear Security Administration Dashboard
• Drive standardization and commonality in report formatting, structure, and nomenclature
• Lead efforts to understand user reporting needs. Translate critical to quality requirements into functional requirements to develop value added reports. Eliminate non value added reporting
• Lead data aggregation, automation, and preparation of Monthly Operating Review and Business Operating Review. Drive improvements to create impactful and relevant reports which drive proactive business behaviors. Lead and coordinate Annual Finance Functional Review process and Functional Cost Review
• Work closely with Program Integration Office group to integrate financial reporting with Integrated Financial Management System, Budget And Reporting Tool, and Micro Strategy to drive data consistency and accuracy. Maximize the above applications to drive synergy in the organization
• Other duties as assigned by manager
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• US Citizenship (to obtain and maintain security clearance)
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting; or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with equivalent education consisting of sufficient hours to qualify for a major in Accounting at an accredited university or a minimum of 3 years Honeywell Finance experience
• Minimum of 5 or more years progressive accounting, budget, or finance experience in a manufacturing or government contracting business

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA / Masters degree in Finance, Accounting and/or CPA/CMA preferred
• Proven / substantiated track record as a proactive business partner who drives attainment of cross functional objectives
• Strong financial analytical skills, including experience with financial modeling
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft applications
• Experience with and a track record of developing internal financial reports and management reports
• Strong personal computer skills
• Familiarity with and a record of effectively using Six Sigma tools
• Problem Solving skills - Solves many kinds of nonrecurring problems. Requires extensive experience in the field to make decisions based on like situations or a combination of technical expertise and experience. This often involves dealing with issues that have never been dealt with by the company and that have a significant impact on the business
• Accountability - Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Motivated and pro-active self starter with a sense of urgency and results oriented
• Interpersonal skills - Represents Honeywell FM&T and Finance team in providing solutions to problems associated with specific projects. Serves as prime contact for providing solutions to problems associated with financial reporting. Maintains strong partnerships and teambuilding relationships with other functional areas
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence others
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Comprehensive knowledge of project cost accumulation
• Possess an understanding / working knowledge of DOE compliance policies and procedures
