Our Telecommute Goals:
One of the goals of the Telecommute-Jobs.com web site is to provide telecommuters with opportunities to work from home on
their own PC. Every telecommuter knows that in the age of the Internet it is possible
to work from home with the same efficiency as working in the office. Furthermore, distance
is for the most part meaningless as the Internet makes it as easy for employers to
communicate with a programmer in Moscow as it is a programmer in Michigan. As a cross
section of workers, no other group of individuals are equipped for and suited for working
at home as programmers are.
Telecommute-Jobs.com has a two part approach to facilitating the age of
telecommuting with regard to hiring IT telecommuters:
It is our goal to educate IT employers as to the benefits of telecommuting.
It is our intention to follow this up by to offering employers incentives for posting
telecommuting jobs on our site even if that only initially means working at home
on Fridays. We have the rare policy of confronting every employer who posts a job as
to their willingness to allow the telecommuter to work from home as little as 1 day a week
and as much as full-time.
We provide a mechanism for telecommute programmers to post work-at-home only resumes
to attract the attention of employers who are looking for off-site help thereby gaining
the benefits of corporate telecommuting.
