Entry level software developer - reconciliations
Responsibilities
-Develop trade, position and cash reconciliation automation on the FMC Recon platform by working with internal business users and external prime brokers to resolve workflow related issues -Assist in managing the entire software lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment and documentation -Work closely with business users and other IT staff to test and roll out reconciliations -Support and maintain existing reconciliations and work on special projects as needed
Qualifications Required
-Bachelor¡¦s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Accounting, finance or equivalent -Strong computer skills, in particular with Excel, Crystal reports, Perl, Oracle and SQL server -Aptitude to learn new skills -Operating System experience with Windows XP, 2000/2003 and Linux -Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills -Committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and to work in a deadline-focused organization -Highly logical, self motivated and keen attention to detail -Flexible, adaptive, professional style - capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment -Ability to work well independently or as a member of a team
