I started using Jobs for Programmers and within two weeks I had my first placement. Our firm had been looking for this applicant for over three months. We also use several other recruiting sites, but they could not furnish us any leads to obtaining the right person. Jobs for Programmers noticed the fit immediately and sent me the resume. I have placed several other applicants off the site in the three months I have been a member. Our agency deals mostly in Visual Basic and C++ software engineering positions. Your site has more of these people that are available than any other site I have found. I like the ease of e-mailing an applicant directly from your site. This saves me time and my printer doesn't get "bogged" down prinitng unnecessary resumes to email later.

I get tons of responses from the jobs that I post. This is another area of your site I find above some of the others. To post a job and get all the information on the posting is so easy to do. I have recommend your site to several other recruiters that I work with. The [weekly report] you send out each Monday also helps me since there are some days I do not have the time to check your site for new applicants. You have even emailed me each day if I request the new applicants. This is great!! The new way to show who is actively searching right now I like also. Some sites leave resumes on there for months, but [recruiters] have no way of knowing how hot these applicants are to change or if they have found something. The "little pens" (availability indicators on each resume) help. This also saves alot of unnecessary work for me. The company I am consulting with has had a difficult time recruiting IT/IS people. When I was assigned responsibility for recruiting a Windows 95/NT Developer, the position had already been open for five months. The company had little or no success sourcing candidates locally.
